TANCET - Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test is conducted by TNSF-Consortium (Consortium of Self – Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu) for admission to the MBA, MCA, ME/ M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan programme of the participating colleges and Universities.

TANCET 2012 Eligibility:-
You need to be a graduate in any discipline under the 10+2+3/4 pattern

TANCET 2012 Exam Pattern / Syllabus:-

Duration of the Test: 2 Hours, The test is split into 5 sections

1. Quantitative Ability
2. Analytical Reasoning
3. Logical Reasoning
4. Knowledge Of Written English
5. Computer Awareness.

Each section comprises 20 questions. Each question is an objective type multiple choice question with a question followed by 5 answer choices. Each question has exactly one correct answer.

1. Commencement of Online / Internet Registration and issue of TANCET 2012 Application Form in Person: February, 2012
3. TANCET M.B.A. Entrance Test - 31st March, 2012 F.N.

What is the syllabus for B.E.-C.S.E for TANCET M.E

Dear students the Anna University has released the formal notification for TANCET today.


Please see the TANCET website http://www.annauniv.edu/tancet2012/ for online booking, booklets, etc. Online registration has just commenced and goes upto 23rd Feb. There is a provision for Spot physical registration at 15 centres in Tamilnadu.

Physical copies need to be received upto 25th Feb.

Exam for MBA and MCA is on 31st March and M. Tech, etc is on 1st April. Results will be declared by 4th April.

Detailed syllabus has been also given. Please note that Candidates admitted through lateral entry in degree courses are not eligible except, B.E./B.Tech. degree courses and Candidates with B.E./B.Tech./M.C.A./M.Sc. degrees obtained through week end courses and B.E./B.Tech. through distance mode are not eligible.

For each of three exams (ie, MBA, MCA and M. Tecch), the fees is Rs. 500/-. SC/ST candidates need to pay only Rs. 250/- per exam.
