Hello sir.I am doing my M.SC.;COMPUTER SCIENCE.I am the batch of 2009-2011.So pls tell when will the net exam conduct for the computer science students.When the application will give.On which date the exam.What are the centre sir.And also how i want to prepare the net exam.What are the subject included for the computer science.Pls tell sir.On what basis i want to prepare for the net exam.Whether it is useful for the computer science department.Sir i want the model question paper for the copmputer science drpartment sir.
Whether we have the net exams or not.

ugc net exams will be conducted in the month of December 2010, well the dates are not yet announced. you can take look at the syllabus and other related information in the below given link.

UGC conducts NET twice a year, i.e., in the months of June and December. The notifications announcing the June and December examinations are published in the months of March and September respectively in the weekly Employment News.

Surely,you can also write NET exam for both JRF and Lecturership. It will be conducted twice in a year by UGC. June and December month.You can download the question papers from this forum itself.

You have completed masters degree so you are eligible for NET exam.

Those candidate have completd masters degree from recogniged university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

NET EXAM SCHEDULE :-


The NET exam date is18-12-2011 But still UGC have not published application brochure .

The application details will be published in 26th September,2011.So you have to prepare well for NET exam.

There are one declaration is announced UGC . No negative Marking in Paper-I and Paper -II exam.

Online form will available after 20 th September.

Date of Close of Online Submission: 25 Th October 2011

when will be the csir-net exam this year i.e in 2013??

National Eligibility Test is conducted for all the subjects on a single day. There will be no separate exams for separate subjects including Computer Science. The National Eligibility Test is conducted in June and December.

It should be remembered that National Eligibility Test is conducted for central government colleges. You can not apply for any state government funded college with this entrance exam. For that you will have to appear for the State Eligibility Test conducted by the state.

National Eligibility Test is for lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship. You should be post graduate you apply for it. It is not possible for you now to appear for the National Eligiblity Test for June, however the option is available to appear for the exam when it is conducted in December.

The notification will be issued only few weeks before the entrance exam. Its too early to tell the dates for next National Eligibility Test. Most likely the notification by the University Grants Commission will be issued in November.

Once the notification is issued by the University Grants Commission, you will have to register for the exam by filling the online form.


NET Eligibility

1. Exam can be given by Indian citizens only.

2. You must have completed post graduation to apply.

3. Must have 55 percent marks in it.

4. For SC/ST the requirement is 50 percent.

5. You can also apply for exam during final year of PG course.

6. However you will be required to submit degree in 2 years.

7. You can appear for NET exam for the Computer Science and Application subject.

8. The maximum age to apply for JRF is 28 years.

9. You get 3 years relaxation if belongs to OBC.

10. 5 years for belonging to SC/ST.

11. Must be older than 19 years to apply for lectureship.

12. There is no upper age limit for college lectureship.
