Where can i get the CLAT forms?


sir,im sakshi sharma form CHHATTISGARH and wanted to frm where cn i got the clat form

You can get clat form from the designated branch of SBI or any of the law school or you could send a request for application form with a DD of 3000 to the law school of Jodhpur.
You can apply online at www.clat.ac.in or download application form from the website.
and send it to designated law school.

CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test and this exam is conducted by fourteen national law universities in turns. For example this year the exam was conducted by the Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur (HNLU). This exam can be given to pursue both LLB and LLM course.

Eligibility for LLB:-

1. You have to pass class 12 or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. This is for the General Category and OBC category only.

2. There is 5% relaxation for the PWD candidates and SC/ST candidates. The percentage to secure for them is 45% of marks in aggregate.

3. Age should not be more than 20 years if you are a General or OBC category candidates and it should not be more than 22 years if you are a SC/ST or PWD candidates.

4. Final year students can also apply for this exam. You must have passed the qualifying exam at the time of admission to LLB.

CLAT Important Dates (Tentative) :-
  • Publication of Advertisement:- 1st week of January.
  • Issue of Application Forms:- 2nd week of January.
  • Last Date for submission of Application Forms:- 1st week of April.
  • Date of Exam:- 2nd week of May
  • Publication of Result:- Last week of May
Application Procedure:-

The form will be available from the designated branches of the State Bank of India and you can get that by paying Rs. 3000. SC/ST/PWD candidates needs to pay Rs. 2500.

Application form and information brochure can also be purchased from National Law Universities accepting CLAT score or you can also send a DD in favour of the university in charge of taking the exam that year.
