Whether a candidate has to repeat UKG if age doesn't meet for 1st standard admission in CBSE?

Hi, my son is 5 years old and he is studying in UKG. But I came to know that CBSE has decided the age limit of 5.5 years for 1st standard admission. So, he have to repeat the UKG for next session? Kindly let me know about this immediately.

YES according to the new rule of CBSE your child should be of 5 years 6 months when he is admitted in class 1. but previously students below that age where also taken into consideration if they passed UKG.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
