its nothing matters
they won't ask if you have dropped 1 year or 2 year..
now you are in NIT
not in a small scaled college , companies coming in NIT'S are reputed and MNC's
they don't see the past they only see's the infrastructure of college and other ratings of academics etc.
they hire as student on the basis of their knowledge and performance in GD and other tasks

If you get good nit after 2 year gap then you have good chances of getting good job as your will complete your engineering from NIT and placement are very good in those institutions. So 2 year gap will not makes difference after getting good job.
But you must carry your performance even after getting admission in NIT and must secure good marks and grap knowledge.

During your study of B.Tech year gap won't matter .

But it may matter at the time of placement in companies, bacause many companies have different selection criteria and some doesn't recruit those student who have year gap more than 1 year.

But you need not to take any tensio, kindly crack AIEEE with good rank & get NIT, so many job offers you will get.

no i don't think so. it is not a matter of big concern for you but just cracking aieee with good rank is not enough but you are needed to obtain good marks in b.tech as well. year gapping can create just a little bit problem during placement so to avoid this try to obtain a certificate showing what you have done during those gapping year. you can get certificate either from court or from any reputed organization.

if you scored a good rank in AIEEE and if your placed in a good NIT then its not a big problem,but the batch mates according to your age are 2 years ahead of you so just pace up with them.

I personally dont think that two years would actually matter if one gets good NIT through AIEEE, provided one keeps on updating his brain and recollects all the basic stuffs.

itdosen`t matter because u can fill the form in consecutive 3 years first attemt during intermidiate exams and other after 1& 2 year gap

no i dnt thnk tat a gap of 2year is goin to be a big pblm after cracking wit top rank. u can start frm rite nw n try go for the next attempt. iam sure tat u can do excellence.

yes gap will matter coz the Ranks are applicable only for current year only not the past years.

It will not matter if you get good mark in college means if you are in 1st, 2nd , 3rd position in college. otherwise after getting top rank also if you dont score well in college then it is very difficult to get job.

dear friend,

year gap may be the matter for some organization if u have reasonable cause then no problems regarding this .but most of the organization need explanation for that.

Hello dude...if u get good aiee college like nit then the 2 year gap does not matter.
Be tension free & try to get admin. in top aieee college.

No..It doesnt matter....After completing your Graduation, when u will go for job,then only your Graduation degree matters most as well as your knowledge matters...
If U have a gud command over your field..then U can get job easily..

you should try not become 2yr. gap.you should try study properly.because life is very short and not wait 2 yrs for good college.you should join any good college if you got.because company see this 2yrs gap and ask to you why you take this 2yr. gap .

First of all i'll thanks to u if u've crack aieee with good rank,2 years gap doesn't matter with all NIT's,but you've to submit gap period certificate of two years and what u done during that 2 years,if u have been in doing coaching u have to submit the coaching centre approval,that's all nothing to worry if you've confidence on u.Thanks

no two years gap is not matter to get the aieee best colleges but in the time of campus placement there is some problem by years gapping.

yes it matters in some companies like pepsico or other. They only recruit freshers even one year dropper is not allowed to apply.

I think what has been done cannot be undone so instead of wasting your time thinking about the negative effects of year gap you should try to make sure that your per semester marks is very good. In that way you will have a chance to do some damage control and give out a strong message about your credibility as a student.

Right now i m studying in gurukul kangri university, haridwar (me). Should i drop one more year to use my last chance in jee mains or continue in gkv?
