i am in 3rd year Doing B.Sc.in geography honours!! i want to pusue for masters,, i hav a keen interest in GIS ,,,but i dont have maths in my combination of pass subjects!!! plzz tell me that not having maths in my combination,,will it affect my future studies in geography???? and what else can be done in the field of geography after completing B.Sc????? plzzz suggest something

no there is not so much affect your future

because you choose geography subject

but you have so much IDEA about mathematics.

with out math life is not possible.

you with draw math form your subject but not your life.............

it will effect a little bit but i don't think you have to face a big problem for this.

it is always better that you have mathematics with geography. at least in 12th if there is mathematics then it will be more easy to learn mathematics. GIS is a very good option after studying in geography. if you are interested in this then obviously you should go for this. in GIS there is need of mathematics but it is not true that if you don't have mathematics you will not be eligible for this. you are eligible but you have to learn few portion of mathematics.


after B.Sc in geography try to complete master degree in geography from a very good institution. after that go for GIS easily you will get good job. there will be a little problem to study further in geography without having mathematics in combination but it will not so much big.

No , something will happen but no more for this , if you have not Maths in combination of BSc Geography Honors.

It always better that you have mathematics with geography. And here the mathamatic is easy than 10+2. GIS is a very good option after studying in geography and if you are interested in you should go for this.In GIS there is need of mathematics but it is not true that without mathematics you will not be eligible for this. you are eligible but you have to learn few portion of mathematics.


There will be a little problem to study in geography without mathematics in combination, but not a large problem.

in gis you'll have to study some maths

no it will nt affect it anymore sice you had taken a geography as a subject then maths takes no importance in it .............because b.sc with maths is another subject rather than b.sc with geography............so don't be afraid you have the good oppurtunities for the job........

by doing the b.sc geography you can become the geography teacher in the school ............you have a good salary.you owned your geography lad.......................and all will be good and perfect............you are moving to the right way.......

I am having geography in class 12 and I want to go for geography honors after passing class 12. I dont have mathematics .. what are the possibilities in thsi line?
