Will I be eligible to write KCET this year if I was born in Karnataka and have completed more than 7 years of education in Karnataka? What is the eligibility criteria for COMEDK exam?
I am Meera. I was born in karnataka and have completed more than 7 years of education in karnataka. my mother has done her education in karnataka. i am currently studying in 12th in gujarat due to my father's transferrable job. Will i be eligible to write kcet 2012? and wht is the eligibility for comedk exam?

Sorry Meera, You need to have the Last 5 year of Education in Karnataka State only [from 8th Grade to 12th Grade] in order to Apply for Karnataka CET Exam.
And Yes, You can Apply for COMEDK Exam., There is no Strict Elgibilities., COMEDK is meant for Other state Students, You can Definitely Apply for it. All the Best |

i studied in tamil nadu and got 58%in 2.my group is bio.can iget seat in karnataka?

My son in 2nd PUC studied in Karnataka from 8th std. ( total 5 years). Earlier he did his schooling in Chennai upto 7th std. His 2nd language is Sanskrit. He can speak Kannada but not read / write. Can he apply to CET 2016 as a local candidate? Should he take any test in Kannada?
