my gate rank in ECE is 18000. will i get admission in am good college under gate category??

your rank is very high even for an category student to get admission in good colleges like the iit or nit,
actually the number of seats in India are very less for m.tech in the premier institutes and getting an rank 18,000 you can not expect to get admission in one of these colleges.
also even if you get an admission in some local colleges its not important to join them because if you want to do higher studies you have to do only from good colleges or else there is no value for your education ,
so its better to write the gate exam once again and get an good rank next time for getting admission in the best colleges in india

my gate score is 374 and rank is 13167 ,caste oc ,branch ec ,do i get good college in hyderabad or hyd sorroundings if i wait until second counselling . which sub is best to choose for future .

hii. my friend why not in RVCE , SJCE,....... college you will get try there is good placements too.
