i am expecting 27 marks in GATE in computer science as per the solution..
what rank can i expect??
can I get admission in good college other than IIT ??
and what is the procedure to get admission in any college through GATE ??

Well, the chances of IITs are bleak as the score is too low.

According to the cutoff you will get a rank between 6000-7000. Not sure about the colleges as I am not sure about their cutoffs.

The admission procedure is simple. After you crack the exam you will be called for an interview and then counselling by the college.

Nothing complicated though. You will get to know the complete procedure once you apply for the college

but if you know cutoffs of previous years then which college i expect at this rank according to you..

your score is very less and if you are general candidate then there are maximum chances that you may not even be getting the cut score for gate qualification,
you can not get good college with your score because there is huge number of computer science students writing the exam and the scores are very high,
it would be better if you write the exam again and get an good score of above 60 only then you can think of getting admission to good colleges like iit or nit

Through your GATE score......I think you will not get admission in good college
But any way we cannot tell it now as we don;t know the cut off which depends on top mark

I thought that with these marks possibility of IIT college is very less.with these marks you cant get IIT college.
with these marks your rank can be between 6000-7500.
By cracking GATE you can get admission in IIT college.for admission first crack GATE exam after this your interview will be coducted and counsilling.
complete knowlege willbe known after appling in college

GATE scores are used by colleges for calling students for PI and final
admissions.
so once you get your GATE score you will have to apply for colleges.. through sepaprate forms.
your score is low and you will get a rank beyond 5000/6000.. so chances of getting
good colleges or government colleges are faint.Especially
since your branch is computer science you
have a really large number of applicants so keep your target low and
you should try for medium level private colleges.

hi friend with this mark u can only qualify the exam however the question pattern of this year is easy than previous years so ur expected rank will depend on the cut-off marks

IIT is not possible. bt government colege is possible for you

hello dude.. the cut off mark for this year may increase and of course your score is somewhat low for the IIT and you can get into some other good colleges rather than it.

This is a very critical condition for you 27 marks are enough to get selected in GATE but no chance of getting seat at IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITs.
BUt you can apply in some regional college which provide good placement.
You can try in some GECs so that good assurance of getting job.
When result is declared each college issue notification for admission in MTech.
If you think that this college is providing what you want and also giving you impression of placemetn then apply their there is fee for application so you have to invest some money in application as its a tough call for you.
