i have appeared in jee .expected to rank near 3000.will i get admission to iem kolkata in ece?what is the previous year cut off rank to get admission into iem in ece.if there is any managment quota to get admission in the college?please let me know all these quickly..

as we know that IEM is best college of West bengal. and the closing rank of ECE in IEM is 1839 and for Computer science is 2432 and for Information techonlogy is 4653. your rank only fall in the region of Information technology. so you will only get IT. But you can get ECE in 2nd best private college of West bengal Heritage institute of technology.

I am a student of Ram Krishna Mission Narendrapur ( Bsc Math Hons Ist yr) Can I get admission in IEM Kolkata in ECE or CSCE or IT under any management quota for admission during this year 2015. Kindly also intimate how many amount is required for management quota.so that I can prepare.

Yes you can get admission in IEM Kolkata in Electronics and Communication Engineering after scoring 3000 rank in WBJEE.

As per statistics last year the cutoff rank for ECE in IEM was 3491.

So it is expected that it will be around 3500.

Management quota is available in IEM which is 5% as per WBJEE rules.But for that you have to contact the College management after counseling of WBJEE.But I do not think that you need management quota for admission.

As per statistics you will get admission in IEM in ECE stream in First counseling.

If I got rank about 4000 in wbjee 2015 can I get electrical engineering in IEM

I had gone through the internet showing that in 2014 IT was extended to 5296 after first round.
Is it possible this year?
If not can i get chance in IT after 2nd or 3rd round
