i got 161 marks in aieee. i m interested in EC branch.
will i be getting nit suratkhal. what more options icould have?

After scoring 161 marks in aieee you could expect a nice rank below 20,000 but it is not going to help you get in top NITs like NIT surathkal, trichy, warangal etc..

However you can get a reputed college or NIT in the later rounds of the ccb counseling.

The EC branch is generally the most demanded branch of the students. I think you will not get this branch in reputed NITs..

I hereby personally suggest that you wait here for the later rounds of ccb counseling and i here by ensure that you will surely get a nice college of your wish.

It would have been better if you have mentioned your category.Its quite difficult to obtain seat in NIT surathkal with a score of 161,that too in a most demand-able branch like EC, because your rank would be around 20,000-25,000.however you could have a chance to get a seat if you have sc/st reservation.

i got 151 marks in jee mains ( General category);and my percentage in pu is 98.2%, do i have any chance of getting into NITK??
