Will I get a seat in NIT Surathkal for mechanical branch?


Hi...i'm pawan walikar from karnataka...i belong to ST caste and I scored 60 marks in jee mains and also I got 81.3% in my puc...will I get seat in Nit suratkal for mechanical branch?pls help me...

The cut off marks for Joint Entrance Examination Main this year for candidates of different category are as below:

>>General candidate: 100 marks.

>>OBC candidate: 80 marks.

>>SC candidate: 52 marks.

>>ST candidate: 48 marks.

You have scored 60 marks in JEE Main and 81.3% marks in board exam, being ST candidate you have good chance of getting admission in National Institute of Technology, Suratkal.

But getting your desired branch will be decided when you participate in counselling process. If they are less ST candidate seeking Mechanical branch then you can get your desired branch of engineering.
