I am sorry to inform you that you may not get admission in Manipal university with a score of under 100. The minimum required score is in the range of 100-105(on the basis of last year's cut off) so you stand no chance of getting admission on the basis of merit to pursue a B.Tech course.

You may look to take admission in other good universities such as BITS,SRM,VIT, etc.

138 is a decent score to get admission in the Manipal university.

Going by the previous year's records, you stand a good chance of getting the branch of your choice. a score of 140+ is considered a par score but since you are close enough, you need not worry about getting Computer science or electrical or a branch of your choice!

146 is a good score in the manipal ENAT exam for the B.tech courses.

As per previous year's record, one can expect a rank of under 2000 for marks above 140, since your marks are even higher than 140, i think you can expect a rank of 1400-1700 in the manipal ENAT.

The result is scheduled to be released on 25th may.

Based on the counselling results last year, the courses you can expect in Manipal university with 3098 rank are :

1. Printing Technology
2. Biomedical Engineering
3. Biotechnology
4. Chemical Engineering
5. Civil Engineering
6. I&P Engineering
7. Mechanical Engineering
8. Information Technology
9. I&C Engineering
10. Mechotronics
11. Aeronautical
12. Automobile

As you would have noticed, you may not get courses such as Computer science(cut off was 2500-3500 rank last year), Electrical and telecommunication(cut off rank 2250-2750) and electronics(cut off rank 3000-3500).

Though these are based on last year's statistics, the cut off will more or less be the same.

Information Technology (IT) is the branch of engineering that deals with the use of computers and telecommunications to store, retrieve and transmit information.The acquisition, processing, storage and dissemination of vocal, pictorial, textual and numerical information by a microelectronics-based combination of computing and telecommunications are its main fields.

You haven't mentioned the branch of Manipal University where you are seeking to take admission. However, i would like to tell you that getting IT in the main Manipal campus can be difficult, as most aspirants tend to take the main manipal campus. However, you can expect to get IT stream in Bangalore, Sikkim. You should also keep a back up course in mind in case you dont get IT. The alternative can be Civil engineering, Printing technology, manufacturing, etc.

You have obtained a decent rank in the Manipal OET(Online entrance test).
The courses you can expect are:

1. Mechanical engineering
2. Information Technology
3. Civil engineering
4. I&P engineering
5. Printing Technology
6. Chemical engineering
7. Textile engineering
8. Electronics engineering(doubtful)

As you would have noticed, the chances of getting Computer science are almost negligible. Even electronics/electrical will be difficult to get in the first round of counselling though you can be in the wait list and get it later eventually. Though you should keep a back up for safety in case you do not get the course of your choice
