Is there scope in btech biotechnology
bcoz i wanna join this.

The candidates who have completed B.Tech in Biotechnology can find opportunities in various pharmaceutical companies. Some of them are Hindustan Lever, Rossari Biotech India Pvt. Ltd, Dabur, Cipla, and Hindustan Antibiotics. They can also work in companies like Godrej, Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Ltd, etc. These graduates also have scope in IT field if they do any networking or software course after their graduation. These candidates can appear for government exams like UPSC, PSC, SSC, public sector bank exams, etc.

Dear Friends,

Search for B.Tech Bio Technology jobs.It will be impossible to find any Jobs.No body will call B.tech Bio-Technology.If you are a B.tech Graduate in Core Engineering like Mechanical,Electrical , Electronics, Computer Sceinece or Civil then only you get some Jobs in Engineering.

Its very sad that Bio tech research Institutes like RGCB(Rajiv Ghandhi Center for Bio Technology http://rgcb.res.in/ is never calling for B.Tech graduates in Bio-Technology
They all are calling for MSc Bio Tech.So if you are keen in BioTech Field go for MSc in Bio-Tech only.

So if you have already a B.Tech holder now looking for other Jobs.
Consider the case of Bank recruitments, with B.Tech Bio Tech , you are as equal as a normal Gradutae.But if you belong to any core subjects then you have options like Specialist officer etc.

So B.Tech in Bio technology will waste your time , dont go for that......Its not copnsidered a an Engineering stream even by Govt or Bio Tech organisations in India.

After B.Tech Biotechnology you have many option like:-
> I.A.S
> I.P.S
> I.F.S
> C.D.S
> Pharma companies
etc

Friend if you want you can go for course like M.Tech, M.B.A etc.

can we do mtech in nanotechnology after btech biotechnology?

BioTech is a good course but after B.Tech Biotechnology its a very tough task to get a job in reputed companies because there are not many research companies in India.

Biotechechnology has a great demand in European countries after Graduation or post graduation.

So from my opinion do not apply for bio-tech.

i m interested in knowing about the human body like heart, kidney,etc....so will i get be interested in taking option of B.tech in biotechnology....???...is it good for me.....???

should i take B . Tech in biotechnology at NIT or go a B.s. &M. s. degree at IISER . which will be better regarding future jobs and salary??? and better opprtunity in india only?????

hey i don't understand why u ppl talk this rubbish......what do u think the link between mechanical engineering nd it......the same way btech biotech is a group.......dont just call it a waste group nd don't discourage the ppl coz biotech is the future of world ...even u ppl r living coz that,cheese,insuline nd several medicine r made by biotechnology.

I want to opt for biotech after 12 should i or not?

i m interested in b.tech with biotechnology. should i apply for it? becouse i hear that there is no scope in future for this course.can anyone tell me all works and scopes after b.tech biotechnology.

my son is studying 12th std cbse he opted biotechnology in biology group so after completing this year we have no ideas what to do next and get me some good suggestions
