May i have the full information regarding the scope of biotechnology branch after doiug the M.Tech degree in Biotech

Hello,
Biotechnology has grown rapidly in last few years.
As we all know that Biotechnology is applied in agriculture,food science,medicine.
Biotechnology is basically a manipulation of organisms to do practical things to provide useful products.
It is also used in recycling and treating of wastes.Organic products like beer,milk products are manufactured using biotechnlogy.

When biotechnology is applied in so many things,it is obivous that it will have a great scope.

After M.Tech in Biotechnology,there are enormous opportunities in both government and corporate sectors.
Opportunities exists in research fileds and various industries like chemical industries, bio-processing industries, agriculture related industries and pollution control activities of the major industries etc.

In future India is considered to be the Biotech capital of the world.It is estimated that in next few years,India would be requiring biotechnologist in huge numbers.
As a whole,Biotechnology will make a good future.

Yes there is a great scope in it. An MTech will surely fetch you Indian as well as jobs abroad. You can even get jobs in research and development field,Teaching field etc
Its also known that India will soon be no 1 in jobs sector of biiotechnology. At present its on position 3

In short let me tell you that there is lots and tons of scope in it. You can go abroad after your MTech to earn fat paychecks.

after having M.Tech degree in Biotechnology you have various options, you can apply for job in any Pharmacuetical company like Renbaxy, Cipla, Glenmark,etc. these companies are searching for the candidates like you having masters degree, and they offer good salary packages also. if you want, you can go in research field also.. choice is yours..take a right decision..all the best..

After M.Tech in Biotechnology, unlimited scopes in research and development,manufacturing and production,quality control,clinical research,regulatory affairs,administration and marketing .

evrybody in this forum are saying that BIOTECH is the best, but in practical,. whr is biotech in india, thr are very few companies and are not offering jobs for freshers. I am m.tech fresher 2011 passout. till now i havn't found any biotech related job. everyone is asking for experience. without giving opportunities how come u all are telling biotech has great scope. like me many biotech graduates are suffering. please dont give any imaginary information here. If anyone knows really about the biotech opportunities please help us.

pharma companies are taking only B.pharm, M.pharm students. what bout biotech students? we r equally qualified.. what is the use of doing m.tech then ?

Hi i m Manoj i have completed B.Sc Agricultural Biotechnology in 2010 and after that i have also experience of 1 Yrs in Marketing field now i got the admission for M.Tech

biotechnology is an applied field which is still at an evolving stage. also the field unlike conventional engg. fields has been largely research oriented so after an m.tech in biotech one may be able to enter the r & d field of leading biotech companies. but sadly in india there are not so much research oppurtunities though one may enter companies like biocon though in foreign particularly in u.s there are good oppurtunities for pg students of biotech

Hi sir,i'm Bvs.manoj.i got 48 rank in pgecet 2011 in the category of mtech biotechnology.am i get seat in jntu hyderabad?i am b.pharm holder.

It takes very long time for biotechnology to evolve. the opportunities and the packages are less. mostly the M.Sc people are preferred in research and jobs.

m also finding the scope of biotech..........m confused
pls tell me msc chem is best or m.tech biotech...???????

After viewing all these comments, ayt present there seems less opportunity or can say no opportunity for freshers....., there must be good opportunity for freshers as well

after m.tech in biotech one can enter either into phd or teaching is the best option.. caz any company asks for experience or they prefer msc students...

huge scope huge scope huge scope......? where is it. after mtech are we expected to work for 8000-150000. If any one says huge scope give us appropriate way to reach those opportunities. please don't mislead the people. After M.tech only chance presently is going for Phd or joining in any company for low paying jobs. If any is interested in teaching he may have a little chances.
