hii,
im selected for wipro with wims program in mar-2011.so can any one tell more about wims(Wipro infotech of master in science) program.is it usefull to my career r not????
Plzz help me out.......

Surely this course is apt for those interested in getting an M.Tech degree. On completion of the course you will receive the MS degree which is equivalent to the M.Tech course. Also you will be full exposure in terms of both practical knowledge and theoretical knowledge. You trained abroad for 4 years. If you perform well WIPRO itself may offer you job opportunity at the end of the course.

I am from Delhi and I got selected in WIMS program under wipro infotech on 1st Feb 2011. can anybody please tell me when will i get the offer letter and when will the further proceedings take place??? If any student is working under the same program then please tell.

I hav attended my wims interview on 10th april..... please tell me....... after hw many days from hr they announced the results???????? did they selected all the candidates who filled a data form after the hr round??? there will b a further filteration or not????
please do me a favour who knows about this plz..........

Well Guys WIPRO Infotech will let you guys work as a Trainee for 4 yrs along with the practical as well as theoritical projects.
According to me this will be a got opportunity , you guys should not miss this because they are letting oyu do Master Of Science in Syste Integration.

System intergration have a broad scope abd will definately help you in your future...........

i got seleceted as wims trainee and i queried many of my known persons and i heard a positive answer..and i got enrollment on 6th june ...can anyone say when will be the date of joining for me as i am eager to know it?????????

i got selected wims wipro at april 10th ..i got enrollment letter at june 6th ...but still i dnt receive any more joining and offer letter pls any one help me i m very eagely waiting ...when ll i recieve offer letter just mail to me at [email protected]

This is work integrated degree program.5days work with one day class @weekends. The working profile could be either s/w or h/w. It totally depends upon project requirement. Remember after 4 years degree you will be a senior-enginer. Dont miss the opportunity,join it.

When will WIMS(Wipro infotech jo master in science) notification fall? i have completed my b.sc in 2009, i want to apply for that?

Friends wims is wipro infotech master of science it allows us to get our MS in system integration whereas wase allows us to get MS in software engineering....

Is the MS degree provided by WIPRO WIMS a full time degree? Does it posses any value?

Hi,

Wipro WIMS/WASE gives opportunity to pursue MS degree in system engineering from BITS Pilani with 4 years after your degree completion. Before going for this you should consider following facts

1 For a degree holder it is waste of time for opting this as course duration is 4 years.
2 During the course period you will be getting stipend (not salary) with out any normal benefits like PF.
3 The starting salary range would be 10k-25k(25 at the final year) with medical allowance get deducted
4 Five days work+ Saturday /Sunday class
5 Less no of leave compared to normal employees For class maximum 4 days leave
4 With in 4 years of course period you will not be able to skip out of wipro (in case if you break bond will loss 75k)
5 you are a core employee still will be considered as trainee employee so you wont be eligible for many benefits like loan
6 You need to verify that whether the MS is AICTE approved/not
7 No practical experience regarding course
8 Many companies does not value the MS you will get job opportunity only based on your 4 year experience in wipro after course completion
9 you will get better salary in wipro after course completion only if your academic as well as technical skill is excellent
10 For phd from BITS need to get excellent score
11 Post MS need to undergo assessment then can be converted as core employee
