Hello Sir, I am 33 years old and I want to apply for the Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination of J&K PSC. I would like to know about the age limit to appear in this competitive examination. Kindly tell me about the application form cost as well.

Age limit to apply for the J&K Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination 2021 are as follows:-
Maximum- 37 years.
Age calculated as on 01/01/2021.

Cost of application are as follows:-
For General category- Rs. 1000
For Reserved category- Rs. 500
For PHC candidates- No Fee

* For Open Merit category candidates :- 21 years to 37 years.

* For reserved category candidates or in service candidates :- 21 years to 39 years.

* For Physically handicapped candidates :- 21 years to 40 years.

Further, the cost of filling an online application for the same recruitment is Rs. 1000/- in case of candidates from General category, Rs. 500/- in case of candidates from Reserved category, and NIL in case of Physically Handicapped candidates.

Your age should not exceed 37 years as general category student.

Your age can be maximum 39 years as reserved category students.

Your age can be maximum 41 years as PwD candidate.

To be eligible for filling an application for J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2021, age of applicant must lie within 21 years to 37 years as on 01.01.2021. Further, there is provision of upper age limit relaxation of 2 years in case of reserved category candidates and in service candidates while in case of PH category candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years.

Also, the cost of application for filling the same examination is Rs. 1000/- in case of General category candidates but in case of reserved category candidates it is Rs. 500/- while for PH category candidate, there is no application fee.
