What is the Age limit and criteria in CID? I am looking for a quick response from your side.

CID(criminal investigation department)
Exam is conducted by SSC and candidates are selected through CGL examination.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
citizen of India
candidate should complete graduation in any discipline from recognized college/
age limit:
for general-20-27years
relaxation is applicable as per the government rules.
selection process:
written exam
physical test
personal interview

Age Criteria Required for Apply for CID Officer Post:

Criminal Investigation Department conducts recruitment for several posts viz. Officer, Sub Inspector and Constable posts. Here are the detailed age criteria required for CID recruitment for respective posts.

1) For CID Officer and Sub Inspector Post in CID Department:
> Minimum Age Required - 21 years
> Maximum Age Allowed - 30 years
There will be an age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-Servicemen Category) as per government norms.

2) For Constable Post in CID Department:
> Minimum Age Required - 18 years
> Maximum Age Allowed - 25 years
There will be an age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-Servicemen Category) as per government norms.

CID stands for Crime Investigation Department.

Eligibility criteria for CID exam:-

Minimum qualification required to apply for this examination is completing a degree course from a recognized Institution.

Age criteria:-

Your age should be in between 21 to 28 years.

Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates.

SC/ST ==> 5 years
OBC ==> 3 years
PWD ==> 10 years
Ex-Servicemen ==> 5 years
Widows ==> 9 years
