Any possibility to become IFS(Forest) officer after BSc Chemistry?


Sir, I am a gradate student in bsc chemistry with botany and zoology as pass papers. I want to become an IFS(Forest) can i appear the exam sir?

Of course yes. You are certainly eligible to apply for Indian Forest Service Examination with the criteria mentioned above. The basic eligibility criteria required is given below,

Name of the Examination - Indian Forest Service Exam

Name of the Organization - UPSC

>> The qualification required is Bachelor's Degree with atleast one of the subject like Chemistry, Botany, Geology, Mathematics, Physics,..etc.,

>> As you have done B.Sc in Chemistry, I can surely say that you are certainly eligible to apply for this recruitment.

The eligibility criteria for Indian Forest Services examination:

>>Candidate must have done bachelor's degree with one of the following subjects:

Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Zoology, Agriculture or its equivalent from a recognized university.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for Indian Forest Services exam after pursuing Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.

You need to wait for next year notification of Civil Services examination.

--- YES, you are eligible to apply for Indian forest services after pursuing BSc in chemistry because as per the eligibility criteria a candidate should be graduate with one of the following subjects;

Chemistry

Botany

Zoology

Veterinary Science
etc.

The candidate should be Indian.

--- Minimum age is 21 and maximum is 30 years however, relaxation is provided to reserved category students.

Relaxation of 5 years is provided to reserved category students of SC/STcandidates.

3 years to OBC candidates

Five years to the candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir state.

Yes, It is possible to become IFS(Forest) officer after BSc Chemistry.

Applicants who have completed BSc Chemistry are eligible to appear in Indian Forest services examination conducted by UPSC.

If you could clear 2 stage of written examination than you will be eligible for interview.

Final selection will be done through interview and merit list.

The required eligibility to appearing in IFS(Forest) is given below.

** The candidate should have passed bachelor degree in Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology etc. from a recognized university.

** The age of the candidate should be in between 21 to 32 years.

** The selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of entrance examination.

As per your qualification, you are eligible to appear in IFS forest examination.

Candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognised university or equivalent.

Yes, you are eligible for the exam.

IFS stands for Indian Forest Service.

Education qualification:-
The candidate should have passed bachelor degree with at least one of the subjects namely animal husbandry/ physics/ chemistry/ zoology / mathematics or degree in agriculture or forestry or in engineering of any recognised university.

Age limit is between 21 to 30 years.

Having completed your B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) degree in Chemistry, you are certainly eligible to apply for the Indian Forest Services examination as far as the educational requirement for the same examination is concerned since for the same examination any candidate having completed his/her bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from a recognized university is eligible.

Apart from the educational qualification for appearing in the same examination, you must be an Indian citizen with your age lying within 21 years to 32 years. Age relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

Candidates with bachelor degree in chemistry from a recognised university are eligible to appear for I.F.S examination.

The examination is conducted in three stages and after qualifying in all the three stages eligible for final recruitment. The age limit is 21-32 years and there is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category.

So, you are eligible to appear for the examination.

Yes, there is a possibility to become an IFS Forest Officer after a BSc in Chemistry. The candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in one subject as Chemistry/Botany/Geology/Mathematics/Statistics/Physics/Zoology/Agriculture/Forestry/Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science from a recognized university. The candidate minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age should not be more than 32 years.

The UPSC conducts the Indian Forest Service examination each year and it has 3 levels that are preliminary, second mains examination, and lastly a personality test. After qualifying these stages, the candidates will be trained for 2 years at Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy. Yes, to become an IFS officer, you must have completed graduation in any of the following subjects: Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Geology/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Statistics/ Zoology. To become an IFS officer, you will first have to complete your graduation.

Yes, you can certainly apply for Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officer after completing Graduation with Chemistry, Zoology and Botany..

The minimum eligibility required to apply for Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officer is that you must have done graduation in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology as one of the subjects.

You must have attained the age of 21 years as of the year of application.
