I want to know that am I eligible for Bank PO
and Bank Clerk Exams as I have got 53% in
12th std and 48% in Graduation Level and
72.20% in Post Graduation Level and I am 27.
Please give me the details about all the Bank
PO and Bank Clerk exams.

Yes of course, you are eligible to apply for Bank Clerks and PO Examination. To join as Probationary Officer or Clerical Cadre in Bank. You need to crack the entrance examination, which is conducted by IBPS and SBI.

IBPS PO:

-You should have completed degree course in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
-You must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years.
-Upper age limits are applicable for reserved categories.
-5 years relaxation are applicable for Ex-servicemen.

IBPS Clerical:

-You should have completed degree course in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
-You must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 28 years.
-Upper age limits are applicable for reserved categories.
-You should be certified in computer language and computer operations or you should have passed graduate with computer science as mandatory subject.
-5 years relaxation are applicable for Ex-servicemen.

SBI PO:

-You should have completed degree course in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
-You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years.
-Upper age limits are applicable for reserved categories.
-Final year of degree course may also apply.
-5 years relaxation are applicable for Ex-servicemen.

SBI Clerical:

-You should have completed degree course in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
-You must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 28 years.
-Upper age limits are applicable for reserved categories.
-5 years relaxation are applicable for Ex-servicemen.

Bank Clerical Cadre Exam Eligibility Criteria for Ex-Servicemen Candidates:

>> A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

>> There is NO certain minimum percentage criteria is required to be eligible for Bank Clerical Examinations. So you are eligible to apply for Bank Clerk recruitment with the mentioned percentages.

>> Minimum age - 20 years && Maximum age - 28 years
Note: There is an age relaxation for reserved candidates, since you are an Ex-Servicemen you are certainly eligible to apply for this recruitment being a 27 years old candidate. Actual period of service rendered in the defense forces+ 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ ST) subject to a maximum age limit of 50 years.

Bank Clerical Cadre Exam Eligibility Criteria for Ex-Servicemen Candidates:

@ A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

@ There is NO certain minimum percentage criteria is required to be eligible for Bank PO Examinations. So you are eligible to apply for Bank PO recruitment with the mentioned percentages.

@ Minimum age - 20 years and Maximum age - 35 years (for Ex-Servicemen) candidates.

Now a days all nationalized banks except SBI and RBI are recruiting under IBPS recruitment procedure for various PO, Clerk and Specialist Officer post that is why you need to follow eligibility criteria of IBPS then only you can judge yourself whether you are eligible or not so I have mentioned the details following :

IBPS CWE clerk V recruitment eligibility : Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and age of the candidate should not be less than 20 years and more than 28 years for General Category candidate.

33 years for SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen category candidates as 05 years upper age relaxation is applicable to Ex-Servicemen category so you are eligible to apply.

IBPS CWE PO/MT V recruitment eligibility : A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and age of the candidate should be between 20-30 years.

05 years upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/ESM candidates so you can apply upto 35 years of age.

Currently you have better academic background that is why you are 100% eligible for both of these posts recruitment.

IBPS CWE clerk examination will be conducted in December- January and PO exam will be conducted in October of this year so you need to read complete examination calender and be updated with latest information being given by IBPS board.

As you should know that IBPS has changed pattern of exam and it will be conducted in two parts which are :

Preliminary Examination
Mains Examination.

A person qualifying in both of these stages will be called for interview process and qualified candidates of interview will be given allotment as per their marks.

The online test will be conducted by the IBPS so you are required to practice through online mode only because if you will walk according to the latest requirement then nothing will come in your way that is why you should register for online speed test at any good coaching center like - TIME or Career Launcher or BSC Academy or Mahendra and start practicing.

Eligibility for Bank Clerk and Bank PO exams for ex-servicemen :

Education Qualification : Candidate must have passed graduation degree in any discipline from any recognised university. There is no minimum marks bar.

Age limit : Age of candidate must be from 21 to 30 years and age relaxation of 5 years is for ex-servicemen.
Age relaxation for OBC candidates is 3 years and for SC/ST is 5 years.

As your age is 27 years then you are eligible for the exam.

Yes, you are eligible for Bank PO and Clerk exam.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS and SBI clerk exam.

I am still serving in the Indian Army and will be retired from service on 31 May 2018. My civil educational qualification is 12th. But we are awarding with a Graduate Equivalent certificate at the time of retirement after completing 15 years of service. I have some following queries which are to be cleared :-

Sir I want to clarify that which person retired from army and those age a cross 37 above are eligible for applying po/MTs. Or what age relaxation is followed for ex service men. I mean if an ex-servicemen are retired on 01 aug 2017 and his date of birth 05 Jan 1980 that he is eligible for my/po. Are age relaxation counted date of discharge.
