Surguja Kshetriya Gramin Bank was established in the year 1979 under Government of India. The bank is sponsored by Central Bank of India. The bank actually came into existence under the provision of Section 3(2) of RRB Act 1976. The bank has its head office located or situated at Ambikapur, Surguja District. the main objective behind the establishment of the bank was to uplift the weaker section of the society and also to introduce banking habits among the rural masses. The bank is determined to provide improved banking facilities to its customers. Mr. D. K. Tripathi is the present Chairman of the bank.

Job Profile:

Surguja Kshetriya Gramin Bank is making recruitment of eligile Indian nationals for filling up the vacant positions of Officer and Clerk cum Cashier (Office Assistant). Interested candidates must fulfill all the eligibility conditions set for their desired post, or else their applications will not be considered by the bank under any circumstances.

Eligibility:

The very first eligibility condition set for both the posts is that, candidates must be a citizen of India.

The minimum age limit set for the posts is 18 years as on 31 March 2011.
The maximum age limit set for the posts is 26 years as on 31 March 2011.

Reserved categories candidates will get relaxation of few years in the upper age limit as per the rules of Government of India. SC/ST candidates will get relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit. OBC candidates will get relaxation of 3 years. Persons with Disability will also get relaxation of minimum 10 years.

Educational Qualification:

Officer Scale-I: Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent is the minimum educational qualification need to be possessed by the interested candidates. Candidates are also required to have proficiency in local lnaguge i.e. Hindi. Also computer literacy is also required to be possessed by the candidates.

Clerk cum Cashier (Office Assistant): Candidates are required to possess Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent. Knowledge of English language is also desirable for the post. Candidates should also have proficiency in local language i.e. Hindi. Candidates with knowledge of computer applications, will get preference over others.

Pay Scale:

Officer Scale-I: Consolidated salary of Rs. 14500-25700 per month.
Clerk cum Cashier (Office Assistant): Consolidated salary of Rs. 7200-19300 per month.
