Sir, my actual date of birth is 1983. But it is recorded as 1979 in SSC certificate. I have date of birth certificate obtained from panchayat office in warangal dist, telangana state. How can I approach to change. Pls guide me the possible ways.

You can contact regional center of your board for change in date of birth SSC Certificate. Just follow given below steps to get your name corrected in SSC certificate:

Step I: Write an application regarding change of date of birth in SSC Certificate.

Step II: Submit the application along with supporting document that mention correct date of birth. There is some nominal charge for correction of date of birth, you need to pay that also.

Step III: If the board finds your document genuine having correct date of birth, it will issue you new SSC Certificate with changed date of birth within stipulated time.

Dear Aspirant,

If you have valid DOB certificate then you can approach to your board for changing DOB with your valid DOB proof.
You have to also give an advertise in one local newspaper regarding your DOB. You should go to your Boad office with a written application, valid DOB certificate, reason about wrong DOB and Newspaper cutting. Problem will be solve.
