Yes, you can apply for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts in Indian Railways after completion of ITI recognized by NCVT/SCVT. Candidates who have passed Matriculation or equivalent under 10+2 system and course completed act apprentice or ITI recognized by NCVT/SCVT or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering recognized by AICTE are eligible to apply for the Assistant Loco Pilot in Railways. Candidates are selected for the ALP post through written tests, aptitude test and document verification. You can apply for the Assistant Loco Pilot post after notifications are released in the employment newspaper.

For recruitment as Loco Pilot in Indian Railway you have to appear and qualify in RRB examination.

The required eligibility to appear in examination is that :-

Candidate must have passed ITI from a recognised institute.

The age limit is 18-30 years.

So, you can appear in examination but you must have to qualify in written, interview and physical test for final recruitment. To get any information about examination visit at www.rrb.gov.in.

Of course you are eligible to apply for loco pilot.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age: The age limit should be between 18 to 30 years. For OBC 3 years age relaxation, for SC 5 years age relaxation.

2. Qualification: you must have completed ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT in any specific stream.
One who have completed diploma in engineering is also eligible.
