I am doing B.Sc with PCM. I want to become a Forest Ranger Officer. So I want to know that can I become this Officer? Kindly tell me asap.

Forest ranger is a post which involves safeguarding and supervising a segment of a public jungle to keep the public safe from threats from forest reserve animals. In order to get into this job you need to apply for forest ranger job conducted by your respected state public service commission.

The eligibility needed for applying for the exam are:

# You should have a citizenship in India.

# Educational qualification needed is candidate should have completed a degree from a recognized university in the following streams:

• Agriculture
• Natural sciences
• Chemical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Geology
• Mechanical Engineering
• Mathematics

Candidates are selected through:

1. Written Test
2. Physical Test

Candidates who clears these two levels will be short listed and will be called for interview.

Yes, you are eligible for Forest Ranger Officer exam.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for the Forest Ranger exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 32 years.
