Sir, I am in diploma and after completing B.Tech in electronics and telecommunications, I want to join Army. I have poor eyesight of 1.5 for both eye. Can I qualify?

No, You can't join Indian Army with the Poor eye sight. You will have to undergo tedious Medical process in the SSB when you try for joining Defence.
In case you get recommend in SSB, you will have to stay for 2 days or a week for complete Medical check up and if so you have claimed false information, that might have a career impact and future ban for joining Defence.

It will be difficult to get a job in Army, if you have a poor eyesight. Corrected vision with the help of specs should be 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other eye for officers post through CDS exam.

Hence, if your eyesight matches the above mentioned parameters after wearing spectacles, then you have a chance.
