Does clearing the cutoff guarantee a seat in government college?
I am an SC candidate and I have Delhi quota. I am expecting 289 marks in AIPMT 2015. Will I be able to get a seat in any government college in Delhi? If not Delhi, then in any other government medical college across India under the All India Quota?

No, cutoff is for IIT advanced exam, if you want to get into one of the most prestigious Institutions of India then you must have done exceptionally well in mains.If you aim for some minor Government College it is better to join in your state qualifying exam.
You have to score a ring below or around 25000 for a decent Government College(NIT). |
