I have completed my under graduate in the department of EEE. I have to become a bank manager in a reputed bank, what are all the eligibilities and what steps i have to follow to become a bank manager?? Please give the detailed answer

Eligibilities and steps to become a Bank Manager:-

Eligibility criteria to become Bank Manager is given below:-

The minimum age must be 21 years of age.
Graduation or masters degree in a relevant field of BA, B.Com, BSc, B.Tech with one of the subjects of Maths/ Statistics/ Finance/ Economics in their graduation or Masters.

Postgraduate qualification add a bonus points for students aspiring to become Bank Managers.

Candidates should have a language proficiency in a relevant subject depending on their location of recruitment.


The following are the steps to become an Bank Manager:-

1 - First, try to get job into banking sector by clearing IBPS exam.
2 - Work for 2-3 years, in the mean time get know the business network.
3 - Get CPA ( Certified Professional in Accounting) certificate boost your chances in getting managerial position.

The minimum age limit is 21 years.

Steps to become an Bank Manager:-

1 - Complete graduation in bank related course with not less than 50% marks from a recognised University.
2 - After graduation apply for bank PO entrance exam which is collected by HDFC, ICICI, Axis bank etc.
3 - Gain experience in banking field.
4 - Based on your performance and skill you may get promoted to manager level.

Candidates having masters degree in business administration / commerce/finance/accounting / or equivalent field are eligible.
Must have 3 years of work experience.
Major private banks prefer candidates who have specific training and are certified .

To be a manager , one has to get post in a lower grade of bank PO or bank clerk or bank Assistant and then through promotions , after getting 2- 3 years of experience they will become bank manager.
