Dear friends, I am interested to apply for UPSC-IAS recruitment. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this eligibility test of this year. Can you please let me know about the eligibility criteria asap? Waiting for your response!

Eligibility to apply for UPSC-IAS recruitment are as follows.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any recognized university.
Candidate's age should be minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years. Age limit will be considered as on 1st August 2019.
Relaxation in upper age limit for respective category are as follows:
OBC: 03 years,
SC / ST: 05 years,
Defense Services Personnel: 03 years,
Ex-servicemen: 05 years,
The candidates with low vision/blindness, ex-servicemen muscle deformity: 10 years

Eligibility to apply for UPSC-IAS recruitment is mentioned below:-

—> You should be a citizen of India.

—> You should have passed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

—> You should be in the age range of 21 to 32 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

The basic eligibility criteria required to apply for UPSC IAS recruitment is given below,

Name of the Organization - Union Public Service Commission

Name of the Services - Indian Administrative Services

>> You should have completed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or board.

>> The minimum age required is 21 years and maximum age should not exceed 32 years. Age criteria is considered as on 1st August, 2019. Of course, there will be an age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

Civil Service Examination is conducted by UPSC.

The examination is conducted for recruitment as an I.A.S, I.P.S, I.F.S Officers.

The required eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or in the final year of bachelor degree. The age limit is 21-32 years with relaxation in upper limit for reserved category.

The examination will be conducted in three stages. The three stages are :-

Preliminary.

Mains.

Interview.

* The basic qualifications required to apply for UPSC IAS (i.e; The Civil Services examination) are as below :-

i) You must have the citizenship of India.

ii) Your age must lie within 21 years to 32 years as on 1st August of the year of examination. Age relaxation is allowed for candidates belonging to reserved category.

iii) You must have completed your graduation degree course in any discipline from a recognised university. Students pursuing final year of their graduation degree course are also eligible.

The eligibility to appear for Civil Service Examination is that :-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

Candidate's age must be between 21-32 years with relaxation for reserved category.

So, candidates with above qualification are eligible to appear in the examination.

After qualifying in all stages of examination become eligible for final selection.
