--> The minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for the Civil Services examination ( commonly known as IAS/UPSC/IPS recruitment examination ) are as below :-

* You must be an Indian citizen.

* Your age must lie within 21 years to 32 years. Age relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

* You must have completed your graduation degree course in any subject from a recognized university. There is no requirement of minimum marks to be secured or particular stream to be studied at any level of academics.

So, having completed your B.Tech degree with 68% marks and Class 12th with 46% marks, you are eligible for appearing in the same examination as far as the educational requirement for the same examination is concerned.

For more details regarding the Civil Services examination, you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in.

Civil Service Examination is conducted by UPSC for recruitment as an I.A.S Officer. The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

There is no required aggregate to appear in the examination.

The age limit is 21-32 years with relaxation in upper limit for reserved category. The examination is conducted in three stages and you have to appear and qualify in all three stages for final selection.
