Hi Sir, what is the eligibility criteria for applying in the Indian Economic Service Examination of UPSC of this year? I want to apply for this competitive examination so I need to know about the eligibility criteria. Please help me in this regard.

Candidates should possess Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized university or a foreign university approved by the Central Government of India.

Minimum age limit of candidates should be 21 years and maximum age limit should be 30 years. There is age relaxation in upper age limit for reserved categories.

✓ Education Qualification:- Candidate's must be a Bachelor's Degree holder with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master's degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from a recognised University.
✓ Age Limit:- Candidate's age must be between at least 21 years to 30 years. Age relaxation as per government rules or regulations.

The eligibility to apply for the UPSC Indian Economic Service Examination 2021 is a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized university. The candidate's minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age should not be more than 30 years as of 1st August 2020.
