I am graduate from Bsc Home science (honours ) from an agriculture university Am I eligible for IFS exam ?

Yes, Home science graduate is eligible for Indian Foreign Services exam.

Home Science students are not eligible for Indian Forest Services.

During graduation you can prepare for UPSC IFS exam.

Apply for UPSC IFS examination in last year of your graduation.

Clear each stage of selection with good marks and positive attitude.

Secure position in merit list and be IFS officer.

Union Public Service Commission ( UPSC ) conduct the Indian Forest Service exam.

Age limit is between 21 to 30 years.
Age relaxation for OBC candidates is 3 years.
Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is 5 years.
Age relaxation for PWD candidates is 10 years.

Candidate must hold bachelor degree with one of the subjects for chemistry/ zoology/mathematics/ Physics etc.

Candidate should be origin of India.

Civil Service Examination and qualify the same going to.

The second stage of Indian Forest Service main examination ( written and interview ).

Yes, you are eligible for IFS Exam as you have opted Science subject. Or, Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering. Candidates appearing in their Final Year Graduation are also eligible to appear for IFS Exam. UPSC holds a screening test for selection to IFS Mains Exam.

Yes, you are eligible for the IFS examination. The educational qualification requires is a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in one subject as Chemistry/Botany/Geology/Mathematics/Statistics/Physics/Zoology/Agriculture/Forestry/Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science/bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university. The candidate minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age should not be more than 32 years.
