so iwant to know whether iam eligible to apply for indian forest services exams by upsc

Yes shore you are eligible to write IFS exam, this exam was conducted by the UPSC once in a year.

Eligibility criteria:

>>The candidate should be complete graduation from any recognised university.

>>Candidate should be a citizen of india.

>>Final year graduation students are eligible.

Age criteria:

**The candidate's age in between 21 and 30years,

3years age relaxation for the OBC candidates,

5years age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates.

Selection procedure:
Preliminary exam,
Main exam,
Personal interview.

• Veterinary Science

• Chemistry

AGE LIMIT

Not more than 30 yrs for general candidate (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC)

NUMBER OF ATTEMPT

4 attempt for general candidate (More attempts available for SC/ST/OBC).

In written examination you will find objective and descriptive type questions on your subjects

and questions on General Knowledge , General English and on General Aptitude.

You can apply till 14 MAY 2012 for the written examination.
