How to become a CID Officer after graduation?
Hi sir I'm Alok Kumar graduation pass with 65% I want to be a c.b.i officer. I want to know how to become a c.b.i officer.

CID, can be joined by the following ways:
1- You join the police force, as a hawaldar or an assistant police depending on you qualifications. 2- You could clear the UPSC exam, after Graduation any stream and join the CID team as an Assistant sub inspector. 3- You pursue Graduation in criminology clear UPSC and join the CID team. |

Procedure to become a CID Officer after graduation:-
Those candidates who want to join Crime Investigation Department have to appear for Indian Civil Services examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year. Eligibility Criteria:- Candidate must have passed graduation from any recognised University to join CID for the post officer as well as sub inspector. Age Limit:- Age of candidate must be from 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation is provided for reserved category as per government norms. Nationality:- Candidate must be Indian. CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department.
The exam is conducted by SSC and the candidates are selected on the basis of CGL ( Combined Graduate Level ) exam. Eligibility criteria to apply for the exam are following:- The candidate should be an Indian. The candidate must have completed graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised University. Final year appearing student can also apply for the exam. There is no percentage bar of the marks obtained in the graduation degree. The age limit for the exam is from 20 years to 27 years for general category, 20 years to 30 years for OBC candidate and 20 years to 32 years for SC/ST candidates. The selection process:- Written Test Physical Test Personal Interview. |

To become a CID Officer (Crime Investigation Department) a candidate should have at least two years of experience as a uniform officer. After that, you can apply for the examination which comes under the Indian Civil Service Examination and conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The educational qualification required is a candidate must have done graduation in any stream but if you have done it in Criminology will be given the additional benefit from a recognized university. The candidate's age should be between 20 to 27 years old.

The candidate has to qualify for the Union Public Service Commission Exam to become a CID officer in India. The candidate should be in the age group of 21 years to 30 years.
The candidate should hold graduation in any subject from any recognized university to be eligible for the UPSC exam. |

CID (crime investigation department) is a Crime detection agency that comes under the government of India.
Indian civil services examination conducted by UPSC. Candidates must have bone examination in any stream from recognised University. Candidates who has already completed graduation can join this department as a sub inspector. There are many University in India that offer degree in criminology and criminal justice at the graduation level which may be helpful to join CID. age limit- 20 years to 27 years. |

CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department. To join CBI/CID as a Sub Inspector, you can apply for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level examination.

There are many posts available for candidates in the CID and their level of entry is determined by their qualification.
The minimum qualification required for a candidate to join as a constable in the CID is a pass in class 12 and if one aspires to join as a Sub Inspector then he or she should have cleared graduation. Graduation is the requirement for officer level post as well and there are many universities in India that offers courses in criminology and the basic qualification for this course is a pass in class 12. |
