To become a Police officer after completing M.sc in Forensic science you are eligible as per the education qualification which is needed.If you want to become a Police officer you need to write the IPS exam which is being conducted by UPSC every year.

There are criteria's which are needed to be satisfied in order to apply for the exam and they are:

# The candidate should have a Citizenship in India

# The age limit needed for the exam is that the candidate should have 21-30 years and there are certain relaxation which is allowed for other category candidates.

# Education qualification needed for the exam is that the candidate should have completed a Degree from a recognized university.

# Apart from all this you need to be physically fit.

The candidate is selected through:

>>Preliminary Exam
>> Main Exam
>> Interview
