To become a Regional Transport Officer in Tamil Nadu which is divided into three types of posts like Clerk Post, Assistant Engineer Post, Judicial Post. The candidate has to appear for the examination Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. The pay scale will be approximately in-between Rs.35900 to Rs.113500 per month and the requirements as per the post are given below.

RTO Clerk - The candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in any stream or equivalent from a recognized university. The candidate should be an Indian citizen and the minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 37 years.

RTO Assistant Engineer - The candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. The candidate should be an Indian citizen and the minimum age should be 23 years and the maximum age should not be more than 32 years.

RTO Judicial Servant - The candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in Law with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. The candidate should be an Indian citizen and the minimum age should be 23 years and the maximum age should not be more than 34 years.

To become a RTO Office, you need to pass the state level public service commission test in Tamil Nadu.

Requirements:

1. Age should be between 21 years to 30 years.
2. Candidate must have good command over regional language.
3. Good communication skills is also required.

The candidate should have completed graduation with a minimum of 55 percent to be eligible for RTO Officer in Tamil Nadu. The candidate should be in the age group of 21 years to 30 years.

The candidate needs to clear the Union Public Service Commission to become RTO Officer.

RTO Officer will get around 42,000 per month as a salary.

The minimum educational qualification required to apply for the post of Regional Transport officer is graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or Institute.
The minimum age is 18 and maximum should not exceed 27 years however, relaxation in upper age limit is provided to reserved category students that is 5 years to SC/ST candidates and 3 years to OBC candidates.
