To become women assistant commissioner of police ,you must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.And you will have to qualify in IPS exam.Your age should be minimum 21 years.

Being a woman, you are eligible to become assistant commissioner of police but for that you have to appear in the Civil Service Examination that is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year and you have to select the IPS rank in your application form and if you get this post then after few years you will be promoted to the post of Assistant Commissioner.

To become an ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police), you have to complete CSAT examination and choose IPS. Therefore you must pass the Bachelors degree at any recognized university in any stream. The age limit is 21-30years and the upper age limit is 05years for SC/ST and 03years for OBC.

Qualification needed to become Women Assistant Commissioner in Police:-
For Women ACP, one needs to become an IPS Officer through cracking Civil Service Examination conducted every year by UPSC. >>The female candidate must be an Indian >>Should have either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or paas in any stream from a recognized university. >>Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. >>Should have possessed good Physical Fitness. Physical requirements:- Height :- 160 cm for General female candidates 145 cm for SC/ST female candidates Chest:- 79 cm for all female candidates Selection is through two phases of written exam followed by Personal Interview:- The candidate applying for IPS, Civil Service Exam , are called for a Preliminary exam also called as CSAT(Civil Service Aptitude Test) The candidate selected out of CSAT is called for the Civil Service Main exam and the final selection is through Personal Interview. |

Eligibility
For getting eligible for the post, candidate must have completed class 12th and bachelor's in any discipline from a recognised board or institute with atleast 60% marks. Then they have to appear for UPSC exam. They have to clear all the exam preliminary, main and interview. Apart from educational qualification ,physical fitness is also given preference. For females Height 160 cm Sc/st 145 cm Chest Females 79cm expandable to 5cm. Eyesight 6/9 or 6/12 She must be an Indian National.with age limit 21-30 yrs. Those selected out of CSAT are called for main exam and after that interview process begins. |
