Respected sir, I am pursuing my b.tech degree course in UGC approved satyabama college of engineering, chennai. And I have this doubt that whether it is necessary to get AICTE approval for BSNL job? Waiting for your valuable reply.

The minimum academic criteria to apply for a Job in BSNL is that the candidate must have passed graduation from a recognized university/ college.

Candidate must have passed graduation from any recognised university. If the university is not recognised by AICTE then candidate is not eligible to apply for the job in BSNL or any other government jobs.

For a technical job in PSU like BSNL you need AICTE approved B.Tech degree surely. If it is not approved by AICTE then you won't be able to apply for any technical jobs in government sector.

You will be eligible only for jobs which ask for a UGC recognized degree in government sector. In private sector there is no problem.

Yes, AICTE is very much needed for any Engineering College since that was the Organization regulates the University. Only students from those colleges will ask for this approval else those candidate will not be allowed to attend some competitive exams or do higher studies.
