Is AICTE approval of University is necessary for government job?

No, There is no such rule that only AICTE approval university can only apply for government jobs , But yes if the colleges where it is not Approved AICTE then its degree is not valid any where , you can not be selected any where.

AICTE stands for All India Council for Technical Education , which is must required .

If you are technical student then it is must that your college is AICTE approved.

However if you are non technical student then UGC affiliations are sufficient.

Remember always,a college require the affiliation of a university if the college is a technical one then it needs the AICTE approval,but if the college is not the technical then only the university affiliation.

So check the institute's affiliation as per your course and then go for the admission otherwise you may lost few years of your important life.
