One can become a Translators at the embassy without going through IFS exam?
Sir My daughter is presently in the Xth STD. She knows English and Portuguese. She wants to learn German and Spanish. She doesn't want to answer the IFS exam. Can she work as a translator in the embassy without the IFS exam? If so, what is the scope working as a translator and of course the salary.
To undergo the IFS exam do you need to be a science student? Thank you and awaiting your reply Regards Melody Pereira |

Re: One can become a Translators at the embassy without going through IFS exam?
Embassies of India or other countries release vacancies of translator in their website. You need to keep an eye on those.
By clearing IFS exam (Indian Forest Service), you can't become a translator of embassy. And if you are talking about, Indian Foreign Service, then you need to clear UPSC with a good rank but in this case also, you won't become a translator in embassy instead you get respected head positions in embassies in various countries. |
