Hello everyone, can anyone of you please let me know about the pay scale of Assistant Professor in NIT Srinagar recruitment? I am going to apply for this recruitment. Please let me know the pay scale immediately. Waiting for your response!

As per 7 CPC (MHRD Notification F. No.15-4/2017-TC Dated 27-10-2017). For Assistant Professor at Entry Level, Pay Scale is Assistant Professor Grade II (Level 10, 7 CPC MHRD Notification F. No. 15-4/2017-TC Dated 27-10-2017 equivalent to AGP 6000, 6 CPC).

The pay scale allotted to Assistant Professor in NIT Srinagar will be pay scale of Assistant Professor Grade II (Level 10, 7 CPC MHRD Notification F. No. 15-4/2017-TC Dated 27-10-2017 equivalent to AGP 6000, 6 CPC) as per the official notification.

The last date to apply for NIT Srinagar Assistant Professor recruitment is 20th March 2019.

There are several grades of assistant professorship in NIT's.However the basic pay starts from Rs.70,900/- and it increases with you experience after you PhD.
1.From 0 to 1 year of experience after PhD the pay will be Rs.70,900/-
2.From 1 to 2 years of experience after PhD the pay will be Rs.73,100/-
3.From 2 to 3 years of experience after PhD the pay will be Rs.75,300/-
4.For more than three years of experience after PhD the pay is Rs.1,01,500/-
Note that with the increase of your experience subsequently your pay is also increased.The pay mentioned above is only basic pay exclusive of allowances and are according to 7th pay commission.
