sir i had applied for assistant loco pilot ... what is pay scale for assistant loco pilot
and what are benifits we get after joining in railways...
please reply..

Assistant Loco Pilot is a very important job in Indian Railways. The pay scale and benefits they get are mentioned below.

1. Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 – 20200

2. Grade Pay: Rs. 1900

3. Initial Pay: Rs. 5830

4. Total Pay: Rs. 7730

Other Allowances that a Assistant Loco Pilot gets during services are listed below.

1. DA on Total Pay above plus the running Allowance
2. Transport Allowance
3. Running Allowance
4. House Rent Allowance ( if Railways quarter in not given)
5. Deductions from salary for New Pension scheme.

How many days in a month will the locopilet work. As the locomotive work 104 hours in 15 days but if 104 hours of duty is completed in 10 days then the locopilet is given rest for remaining 4 days or not, as his duty hours are completed....???
