Captain (Pilot) and Co-Pilots, BSF
BSF Profile: Border Security Force popularly known as BSF is one of the important defence wings of our country. Its major functions are to restore the situation in case of any disturbance, prevent cross border terrorism and illegal activities like smuggling etc. It is highly commendable and respected for its brave work.
Job profile: The pilots and the co-pilots will be responsible for flying various aircrafts in the BSF. They will be required to serve the nation with full dedication. The co-pilots will also be required to support their seniors.
Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 45 years for the post of a pilot and 40 years for the post of a co-pilot. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.
Qualifications: For a pilot – A candidate must have the current airlines transport licence/senior commercial pilot licence with a flying experience of 2500 hours and pilot in command experience of 500 hours (day and night) including 250 hours with multi engine or BSF type of aircraft. For a co-pilot – A candidate must have a commercial pilot licence or a senior commercial pilot licence with a total flying experience of 1000 hours and a minimum 400 hours of pilot in command experience.
No. of posts: There are 3 posts for the captains (pilot) and 1 for the co-pilot.
Pay scale: A captain (pilot) will be given a pay scale of Rs37400-67000 plus a grade pay of Rs8900 and a flying incentive of Rs1800 per flying hour and a co-pilot will be given a pay scale of Rs37400-67000 plus a grade pay of Rs8700 and a flying pay of Rs1500 per hour.
Selection process: The candidates have to appear for an interview. They will be selected on the basis of their qualifications and experience.

The candidates are required to attach the copies of their essential certificates with the application. All the applications must be sent to Dy.
