Relaxation available under the UPSC Civil Services IAS Exam 2021 for reserved candidates
Sir, I belong to the reserved category. I came under the ST caste category and I want to apply for the UPSC Civil Services IAS Exam for this year. Can I know about the relaxation available for me and other reserved candidates.

Yes, relaxation available under the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Civil Services IAS (Indian Administrative Services) Exam 2021 for the reserved category candidates.

Relaxation for reserved category in Civil Service examination.
Educational qualification :- Bachelor degree from a recognised university. Age limit :- 21-32 years for general candidates and relaxation in upper age limit of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST. No application fee for reserved category. For detail information about the examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

Relaxation available under the UPSC Civil Services IAS Exam 2021 for reserved candidates is;
Your age should be minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years of age as on 1.8.2021. OBC candidate will get age relaxation of 3 years in upper age . ST/SC candidate will get age relaxation of 5 years in upper age. |

SC / ST - 5 years OBC - 3 years Ex-Serviceman - 5 years PWD - 10 years No Age relaxation will be provided to the economically weaker sections in the UPSC civil services exam 2021. Relaxation is available in age limit under the UPSC Civil Services IAS Exam 2021 for reserved candidates -- A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on the Ist August 2021.
