Hello everyone, can any of you kindly let me know about the procedure of selection for the UPSC Civil Services IAS Exam? I am planning to apply for this exam. Kindly tell me about the selection procedure for this year.

Selection procedure under UPSC Civil Services Exam 2021 are :-
Preliminary Exam (Pen and paper mode)
Main Exam (Written)
Interview
Medical Examination

The selection procedure for recruitment of IAS (Indian Administrative Service) Officer through Civil Services Examination held by UPSC are as below :-

--> Preliminary Test (MCQs based).

--> Main Examination (Descriptive Type Written Examination followed by Personal Interview).

Selection procedure under UPSC Exam 2021:-

The selection process will be happened into three stages -1)Civil services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective Type).
2)Civil services (Main) examination (Written).
3)And last personality test of candidates (Interview).

Selection is made after qualifying in all three stages of examination.

Three stages are - Preliminary , Mains and Interview.

Selection procedure under UPSC Civil Services IAS Exam 2021 is;

°°° Selection procedure under UPSC Civil Services IAS Exam 2021 process comprises of three stages - civil services preliminary examination objective type, civil services main examination written and a personality test interview.

°°° candidates qualifying in the UPSC civil services examination 2021 will become eligible to appear for next round of selection process and ultimately be selected for the recruitment in various posts of Indian Civil Services.

°°° Preliminary exam

This examination is just conducted as a screening test to shortlist eligible applicants for the Mains examination.

°°° Mains exam

This exam consists of a written exam and personal interview.

The applicants who scored a minimum qualifying marks in the written part of the mains exam will be selected for a personal interview test.

The personal interview will have 275 marks.
