Hello Sir, I am looking forward to applying for the UPSC Forest Service IFS Exam for this year as I am interested in the Forest Service. I would like to know what are the relaxations available under this examination as I belong to the reserved category. Please let me know asap.

Yes, relaxation available under the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Forest Service IFS (Indian Forest Services) Exam 2021 for the reserved category candidates.

** Age relaxation are available for reserved category.

** No Application fee for reserved category candidates.

Relaxations available under the UPSC Forest Service IFS Exam 2021 for the reserved candidates is;

Maximum age limit is 32 years.

OBC candidate will get age relaxation of 3 years.(maximum age accepted is 35 years)

ST/SC candidate will get age relaxation of 5 years.(Age relaxation accepted is 37 years)

°°° Relaxations available under the UPSC Forest Service IFS Exam 2021 for the reserved candidates:

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on the 1st of August 2021 i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd august 1989 and not later than 1st August 2000.

The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable:

Up to a maximum of 5 years if a candidate belongs to a scheduled caste or a schedule tribe

Up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to the other backward classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.
