Hi friends, I am a little worried about my future. I am interested in applying and becoming a Stenographer in Assam Police. However, I don’t know about the procedure of selection. Can any of you help me to know about the selection procedure?

Selection Procedure of Assam Police Stenographer recruitment will be based on Written Test and Physical Test.

Pay scale allotted to Assam Police Stenographer recruitment is Rs.14,000 to Rs. 49,000.

The selection procedure of candidates in Assam Police for post of Police Stenographer will be based on:

1. Written Test.

2. Practical Test.

3. Stenography Test.

Each will be of 50 marks. In written test, there will be 50 questions and each containing 1 marks and negative marking of 0.5 marks for each question.

Questions will be from logical reasoning and aptitude, history of India and Assam, Comprehension and General knowledge.

The last date to apply for it is 15th June 2020.

Selection procedure in Assam Police Stenographer recruitment:-

1. WRITTEN TEST:-
Written test will be off marks and will be completely OMR based.

2. PRACTICAL TEST:-
Second test is practical test where the selection board will test the ability of candidates. The total test will be related to computer.

The selection procedure in Assam Police Stenographer recruitment will be on the basis of written test, practical test and stenography test. The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in any stream or equivalent from a recognized university and must have National Trade Certificate in Stenography from ITI in Assam or any other institute recognized by the Government of Assam/Government of India with 80 WPM(Word Per Minute) in English Stenography.

The selection procedure for Assam Police recruitment for Stenographer Grade III will comprise of following stages :-

* Stage I : Written Test : 50 marks.

* Stage II :- Practical Test : 50 marks.
