Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to know about the procedure of selection for the post of Trade Apprentice in Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited. Can anyone of you kindly let me know about the selection procedure? Waiting for your response!

The selection of trade apprentice in Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, depends upon their performance in the qualifying examination. Candidates who scores a good merit in 10th standard and ITI trade are eligible for the recruitment. The final selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the personal interview.

Selection procedure followed in the Trade Apprentice recruitment in the Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited is given below:

Marks obtained in the Matriculation (10th) examination – 30% weightage (30 marks)

Marks obtained in the ITI examination – 70% weightage (70 marks)

Total – 100 marks

The selection of candidates for their engagement as Trade Apprentices in their concerned trade will be based on their marks in Matriculation (i.e; Class 10th) and marks in ITI degree course in relevant trade.

Further, the weightage of marks in Matriculation is 30% while the same in case of ITI degree is 70%.

** SELECTION CRITERIA:

Selection of candidates will be done on Merit basis based on marks obtained in Matriculation Examination (10th) and concerned ITI Course.

The selection of the candidate in Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited Trade Apprentice recruitment will be done on the basis of Meeit list.
