I am an ex service man aged 42 years. I would like to give exam for civil services in state & central level. what is the criteria

According to the SSC CGL eligibility criteria, aspirants applying for SSC CGL must not be less than 18 years and cannot be more than 32 years of age (as of August 1, 2022). However, SSC allows the relaxation of the upper age limit for applicants belonging to various categories. The age relaxation is decided after taking into account years of work spent on the field, residential region, service offered to the government, and other factors.

Ex-Servicemen (Gen), age relaxation - 3 years.
Ex-Servicemen (OBC), age relaxation - 6 years.
Ex-Servicemen (SC/ ST), age relaxation - 8 years.

What is the age and qualification for ssc for ex service man?

The candidate should be in the age group of 18-25 years/ 18-27 years to be eligible for SSC exam. Candidate must have passed matriculation examination OR equivalent from a recognized board or institute.
SSC MTS qualification should have been attained within the time period which is mentioned in the official notification.
