What is the pattern of UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2021? Age limit to apply?
Hello everyone, I have heard that the UPSC Engineering Services Exam application is released for this year. Kindly tell me what is the age limit to apply for this examination? And also let me know about the pattern of this examination.

The examination is conducted in three stages and candidates have to appear and qualify in all three stages of examination for the final selection.
The three stages are :- Preliminary. Mains. Interview. The age limit to apply for the examination is 21-30 years with relaxation for reserved category in upper age limit. For more information about the examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

The pattern of UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2021 can be seen below.
1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type Papers). 2. Main Exam - Written Paper. 3. Personality Test. Your age should be in between 21 - 30 years as general category student. For reserved category students maximum age limit is 35 years. |

The age limit to be eligible for filling an application for UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2021 is 21 years to 30 years as on 01.01.2021. Upper age limit relaxation is allowed in case of reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

The pattern of UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2021 is given below.
Stage I - Preliminary Examination (Objective Papers) Paper I - General Studies and Engineering Aptitude (Paper Type), Duration - 2 Hours and Marks - 200 Paper II - Engineering Discipline (Paper Type), Duration - 3 Hours and Marks - 300 Total Marks - 500 Stage II - Main Examination (Conventional Papers) Paper I - Engineering Discipline I (CE/ME/EE/E&T), Duration - 3 Hours and Marks - 300 Paper II - Engineering Discipline II (CE/ME/EE/E&T), Duration - 3 Hours and Marks - 300 Total Marks - 600 Stage III - Personality Test Personality Test - Marks - 200 Stage I + Stage II + Stage III - Total Marks - 1300 The candidate's minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age should not be more than 30 years as of 1st January 2021. The age relaxation for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen is 5 years and for OBC candidates it is 3 years and for a person with benchmark disability is 10 years. The prelims contains two objective type papers and mains exam will be held in descriptive format i.e., Category-I (Civil Engineering):- ------------------------------------------------- ✓ Paper-I ✓ General Studies and Engineering Aptitude:- 200 Marks. ✓ Time:- 2 Hrs. ✓ Paper-II ✓ Civil Engineering:- 300 Marks. ✓ Time:- 3 Hrs Category-II (Mechanical Engineering):- -------------------------------------------------------------- ✓ Paper-I ✓ General Studies and Engineering Aptitude:- 200 Marks. ✓ Time:- 2 Hrs. ✓ Paper-II ✓ Mechanical Engineering:- 300 Marks. ✓Time:- 3 Hrs.
