Dear friends, I need to know about the age limit because I am 22 years of age and I want to apply for the UPSC Civil Services IAS Exam for this year. Kindly tell me what is the age limit for this exam? And also let me know the fees for the application or application cost asap.

Age limit to apply for the UPSC Civil Services IAS Exam 2021 are :-
Lower age limit - 21 years
Upper age limit - 32 years

Relaxations for reserved category candidates -
SC/ST - 05 years
OBC - 03 years
Defence services personnel, disabled in operations during hospitalities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence there of - 03 years
Ex-servicemen - 05 years
PwD - 10 years

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years as on the Ist of August, 2021.

The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable-

Up to a maximum of 5 years if a candidate belongs to a scheduled caste or Scheduled tribe
